MOONRISE - SOLSTICE 1999
On December 22, 1999 the world was treated to the brightest full moon in 133 years. It coincided with the first day of winter, unusually warm weather and the craziness of the holiday season. It was a thrill to see it appear, and a great adventure scouting a suitable location.
